Prof. Dr. Vladimir Vladykin,
This performance is about Woman. For all her life she spins the Thread of Destiny and weaves the Carpet of Life. Human life is many-sided. Man builds a house. Woman gives birth to a baby. She is the Creator of her own life and she weaves the Carpet, so varied, beautiful and full of contrasts of the three powerful symbolic colours. These are Black, Red and White:
White is the symbol of purity, youth and hope.
Red is the symbol of love, the coming of maturity and passion.
Black is the symbol of old age, wisdom and passing away.
A person comes into this world and passes away. But what is left to his descendants, in form of what pattern does he remain in the genetic memory of the humankind?
Woman sings and dances, and patterns blossom out on her Carpet.
So the wheel of life is revolving, the thread is being twined, and the Carpet is being woven. Woven from songs and dreams…
